Trainee Volunteer Pathfinder

Citizens Advice Kensington & Chelsea is looking for Trainee Pathfinder Volunteers to join our team and support clients to find the right information, advice and services for their circumstances. As a Trainee Pathfinder, you will play an important role in the client journey. You will speak with clients, listen to their circumstances, gather relevant information and carry out full triage assessments to identify their needs, urgency and any potential risks. You will provide clients with clear and relevant information and help them understand the options available to them. This will include signposting clients to appropriate Citizens Advice services and other sources of support. Where specialist assistance is required, you will make appropriate referrals to external organisations and community services. The role will also involve form filling, supporting clients to understand and complete relevant forms and ensuring that information is recorded accurately. You will record key information from client interactions on the appropriate systems and develop your knowledge of local services and pathways to support.
